Don’t look to have to many ideas to get in behind them, look to go wide in invariably passing it back, followed by a little bit of tippy tappy between Vyner Dickie and James before the inevitable long ball to Bell, who with the best will in the world will not win a header.

Really frustrating to watch right now, Millwall have set up at Preston did and are pushing us out wide and using three players to close off passing options. I feel like we're too one dimensional and if it doesn't work because the opposition set up well we have no plan B.

I'm happy with this so far.

Killed the atmosphere. Lots of possession, very controlled, snuffing put danger quickly. 

Ideal first 20 minutes for a game at the Den.

Its clearly not the tactic... sometimes we are pressed and the players decide the best option is to go long...

In fairness, Millwall are a good side and at home. We’re frustrating them as much as them us. Both sides are tightly organised but lacking invention. As a tactic, cancelling them out and pushing for an effective break in the second half is probably not a bad gameplan but it does not make for exciting viewing.
