I really rate Pring but he was one of several players to put in below par performances against PNE, whilst Roberts was brilliant against Oxford. For me he had earned the place and it's sending the wrong message to keep Pring in.

Fine balance between players being competitive as they know their place is up for grabs, and terrified of making a mistake as they'll get dropped immediately or trying much too hard, neither of which you want!

Pring didn't have a great game but I'm not sure he deserved dropping, even though Roberts was quality - he'll know he's on a bit of a timer though.

Pressure is a very delicate and individual balance.

This RTV audio is a joke, got it on at 16.05 with Owers talking about Alex Scott, within 2-3 minutes it had disappeared again. Who is organising this system this season, as it seems to be rubbish.

Understandable that Pring keeps his place when you consider performances over the least 12 months.

I'm more surprised that Mehmeti isn't starting ahead of Bell - I thought Mehmeti was outstanding against Oxford.. Really nice to have the 2 options though.

An 84th minute winner would indeed be painful however, as I don't really care once a player has left the club Joe Bryan scoring it wouldn't mean anything more than their other players. And just for the record  I'm a lot more optimistic than a lot of people on this forum and believe City have better players than at least 75% of the teams in the Championship and will win today.

Cornick, Roberts and Mehmeti are unlucky to be benched but I think the right players are in.

I'd play Roberts in front of Pring. Pring better defender and Roberts forward runs and delivery is excellent. Sam Bell and Nakhi can mix it up top.

Yeah makes sense.

Had a quick look at Millwall team, apparently they're unchanged. We can hit them a bit more as the away side but hmm.. I foresee some similar tactical matchups though dunno if their midfield as good as Preston.

Millwall are back 3, with wingbacks, 3 in CM and then Flemming and Bradshaw up front.

Flemming is not really a striker.. that central area could be quite congested again.

2 v 1 in wide areas an obvious advantage for us but that in turn can leave us or a side forcing it a bit vulnerable in transition. An early goal probably would help us a lot.

Signed to Bristol City from Millwall (via Bedminster) in 1899 then stayed here and my Nan was born 11 years later.

There was a problem with the audio only going off earlier, so it wouldn't surprise me if RTV is having problems. Audio is OK atm, but this season whoever is working it seems to be useless.
