But I'm just totally bemused trying to rationalise the comments from JL and Tinnion with this appointment. It all just sounds like total bullsh*t reminiscent of some corporate environments I've worked in, when higher ups are more concerned with saying the "right" thing and appearing very level headed and clever, thinking they're skilfully negotiating tricky waters with excellent wordplay... but in reality everyone knows they just don't have the balls to just lay it out like it is - even though they know full well everybody understands what's going on. They're taking everyone for fools, it's like a little false parade that has to be done to seem professional or something. Just bloody own your decisions - say Pearson was hard to work with, he didn't do things the way the club wanted, he wouldn't accept a lack of control, whatever it was.
