Duff played at every level from the eighth tier to the Championship before reaching the Premier League at 31. They signed Heart of Midlothian forward Josh Ginnelly on a three-year deal. Ginnelly, 26, was a free agent having turned down a new contract with Scottish Premiership Hearts. They also signed of out-of-contract Exeter City defender Josh Key. The phrase ‘Swansea Jack’ comes from a dog called Jack who saved 27 people from drowning the River Tawe during the 7 years of his life (1930-1937). Barrs Court Red
Kids football tomorrow so I’ll miss this. I suspect I’ll be missing a home win. Played poorly for 3 defeats, looked much better Tuesday and I fully expect them to take that into tomorrow and come away with 3 points. 1 Quote Link to comment
1960maaan
As happens on such occasions , and with the online therapy supplied here, the doom has lifted slightly. I have arranged to meet mates in the Commercial rooms early doors , and thoughts turn to the Team sheet . That has supplied more interest and excitement than many of the games. I look forward to TC & Nahki starting together. I think Mehmeti starts left , so could I get what I want and see Knight deeper ? I think we have enough to beat them and fancy Tommy to get a couple. But then I just said England had lost the rugby seconds before the drop goal , so what do I know? Quote Link to comment

We'll do well to get a point out of this game. Going to be a tough game, would love a win to set us up for next Saturday but I think a draw will probably be the outcome. If Leeds were playing at Plymouth today, would they fail to fill their end because "with Mother's Day" ?! Or, if we were third like Ipswich, a point off second, would the crowd be patchy like it will be today because it's "Mother's Day" ? It's because we're midtable and shite/dull that people will stay away today. Meanwhile, they'll pop round their muh's with some cheap flowers from Tresco and chappy milk chocolates, then while she's droning on about her various aches and pains and how she can't get a doctor's appointment, you'll all be checking yer phones to see if we're 0:2 down so's you can get on otib and get stuck in to Manning and Tinnion. 1 Quote Link to comment

Thats it then, off I go again. This time we’ll all be rewarded with a fine win against the Welsh……….or maybe a draw. 2 Quote Link to comment
