  1. Exactly how I felt. Was expecting to sit and listen for 15/20 mins, get some titbits that would then drive relevant questions off the back of them. Tinnion, Gould & Nige went into loads of interesting detail off the bat last year. This week was literally Jon saying, thanks for coming, an awkward silence throughout and then thrown straight to the crowd. Checked back from the two streams, and this year was a good half an hour (or a third) shorter than last, which I think sums up how rushed the whole thing felt.
  2. They’re even more ******* deluded than we thought, If they think he’d take that job.
  3. They were asked, bumbled along a bit about giving the department more resource hence splitting Rennie’s old role into two, and just said it was based on numerous data points that will now also be used in recruitment moving forward - maybe partly the role of Krause? This was all prefaced by JL (I think) saying he’s not a medical expert, yet commented on it in his Joe Sims interview. After sleeping on it, the whole night felt a bit fever dream like tbh. I knew we wouldn’t get much out of them, but from 15 minutes onwards the whole vibe and energy they gave off to questions, Manning aside, made it almost pointless to even ask anything
  4. Always really liked him since being a manager. Extremely articulate and clearly a very good coach too.
  5. In fairness, I believe we already had one of those (and was implemented by Nige/Tinns) with a % number next to the 23s/18s player in the depth list, with how likely they are to be first team ready if those further up the list leave the club / are injured. Joe James for example will have been incredibly low, hence not being involved at all since cardiff, but he was basically all we had at that position at that time.
  6. EFL regulation that you have to have AT LEAST one, or you get quite a hefty fine
  7. If any question summed it all up, it was Jon Lansdown saying (or was it Tinns?) as a response “well I think all the games can be found on the website”
  8. He will absolutely manage in the premier league, probably not with us, but I’m convinced after that that he will. Extremely clear communicator, obviously a really talented coach. Anyone who puts him & LJ in the same bracket is crazy.
  9. For balance, I do think pressing questions were asked just maybe in a roundabout way. But it honestly felt from 5 minutes in there was just no point even being there, as non of them other than Manning seemed willing to answer anything. Summed up by whoever (rightly) flagged that the comms of 21s games being free at the HPC is a joke and only announced half an hour before the games start, everyone chuckled and they actually moved on to another question before realising they hadn’t actually answered it and Dave Barton had to step in.
  10. I’m at a total loss after that tbh. Atmosphere was so ******* odd in there, Liam was the only one willing to expand on an answer for more than 45 seconds. It was so guarded and they answered questions so blandly and quickly the whole thing felt really rushed whilst also not really answering anything properly, or at all. Didn’t really answer the questions on injuries and the new structure, didn’t really answer the question about the new structure, Jon said it’s not his place to answer the question on the stadium(???) Last years opening was loads of detail from Tinnion on the academy, nige on what it means to be a manager( and Gould on loads of detail around club finances and season ticket sales etc. This year - JL “just wanted to say thanks for coming” *awkward silence with everyone looking around wondering what’s going on*. Manning salvaged it tbh, seemed like the only one happy to be there.
  11. Would say Tinns looked pretty nervy when he was coming into the area we did RB in
  12. Intention is, need to know why it took sacking pearson for them to realise the communication is bad, and what has been put in place to improve it since he said it 3 weeks. fans forum isn’t evidence of it, it’s an FA/EFL requirement, the club (or any club) gets a pretty hefty fine if they don’t hold one every season under fan engagement requirements.
  13. That’s pretty much my intended question I’ll be asking
  14. Extended highlights (10 mins) available on the club website
  15. Recording it from 6-7 at the hen & chicken too, ending at 7 so the forum starts soon after. Tinnion/Manning/Marshall/JL will also be interviewed on the show.
  16. I’m blushing!! (and also managed to pick up a cold after night handily so sure I’ll sound even more monotone than usual, surely can’t have caught it from the coopers or Masonic after the game yesterday )
  17. 14,000+, wow. Incredible. And to think, that would’ve been pretty consistently be seen as a good crowd for us back in the ‘old’ AG, league one days. Absolutely amazing how far the womens game has come, up and down the country. Long may that continue!
  18. Yep, Cornick was much better than Conway yesterday & in the QPR game imo. Was a real nuisance yesterday in particular.
  19. Course, same issue as Tommy. 5 touches first half, 8 in the second half according to Futmob. 7 touches jn whole of QPR game. Think Liam’s biggest task is how to get the best out of him, as the current system doesn’t favour the focal central striker at all, whoever it is.
  20. He was given a totally different role yesterday, strangely, and was being told by Manning to stay inside and link play up which isn’t his game, it’s running in behind. I don’t think anyone in the squad, bar Dickie, has played well consistently for the last few weeks tbh.
  21. This. His counter attack where he was one on one with someone for the whole time and still just blasted the ball straight at Dieng, saved him from another poor cameo imo. First 5 minutes he got caught out 2 or 3 times, left Pring exposed and I’d bet counted toward Pring’s yellow too. On another day, him launching those two crosses into the box on 90+ minutes could’ve cost us. I get fans like him because he’s, on the face of it, ‘exciting’, but he’s been awful this season and anyone who really wants him to start ahead of Bell needs a head wobble. He’s a real frustration, but if he can alter his game a bit he’ll be a real asset for us.
  22. Thought he was excellent in his cameo, probably played better than Conway did tbh.
