  1. Some of our fans need a word with themselves. Same as the Guy behind me just giving Cornick abuse all game, absolute helmets. Scott clearly knows he is off and why would he risk getting injured in a dead rubber game for us when I think the move he is going to have will likely change his life. He's a 19 year old kid and is going to make our club many millions. Good for him
  2. I support the club's seeking a new broadcaster to he honest. The EFL coverage in general is below par, BT offer better insight into National League games.
  3. Manager of the season as it stands in my opinion. Not only has he done a brilliant job, but he conducts himself very well. Obviously learned from boy wonder himself LJ ?
  4. It was a really weak League this season. Sheffield Utd as you say pretty poor for a side promoted. I must admit every time I watch Luton play I think how the hell are these 3rd? The quality has gone downhill massively in recent season.
  5. Their fans are saying they're the best team League 1 has ever seen. They aren't even top ?
  6. Well done Joe. You have rattled the biggest hypocrite in Sport this weekend so that's top work
  7. Brilliant and deserved for Scott. Sadly ruined by the behaviour on social media of Sunderland fans, very entitled. Lost respect for their fans a bit.
  8. Hmmm mixed reviews on him and I'm not sure the standard in Scotland is much to go by. I still have bad memories of the numerous Scottish signings in the early 2010s turning out to be awful. Guess we'd have to wait and see
  9. Could any of you local's recommend a list of restaurants in Bristol that would be worth looking at for a couple of weekend's time?
  10. Just get rid of Downsy and employ someone who is a long time City fan and Football fan, not a kid's entertainer
  11. Hopefully Notts County win Promotion in the Playoffs. A side who play really good football for the level and have the League's top goalscorer too, yes more than Mullin. Sod Wrexham
  12. Yes it is. A total nonsense that is being used to divide those at the bottom.
  13. You only have to go through his Twitter feed to see what an utterly miserable Human being he/she/whatever is
  14. Highlights how this season the Championship has been very weak compared to when Sheffield United won promotion in 2018/19.
  15. Pretty sure Preston had 89 points and ended 3rd in 2014/15 when we won the League. They did subsequently go and win the Playoffs though. EDIT: Just checked. Sheffield United ended up 3rd in 2011/12 and were on 90 points.
  16. We spent 8 seasons trying to get out of it in the 2000s. The top end of the League is extremely competitive.
  17. I'd imagine most of them miss the more 'hip' Lee Johnson with his nonsense post match crap he used to speak
  18. Weimann isn't a midfielder, or an attacking midfielder it's as simple as that. He's a striker. He presses very well and finishes well. Anything else in the final 3rd and he's not the best at
  19. You can guarantee that even if Yeovil were relegated to the Western League that they'd still get a decent coverage on Radio Bristol. I'd rather listen to a Rovers fan moan and moan about their crap club than Yeovil's pointless existence in Conference South.
  20. He's too soft for me, his kicking also irritates me, often goes for a throw in. He has recently conceded Soft goals against Swansea and 2nd goal Cardiff scored against us, poor with the 2nd goal today, poor goal conceded against Preston at Deepdale. We won't challenge further up the table when our Goalkeeper is susceptible to throwing one in randomly. He's a good Number 2 at this level, nothing more
  21. Yes definitely agreed on the whole getting smashed thing. I think that's a pretty toxic culture in itself. Yes you can as a young man go to the football without touching an alcoholic beverage and enjoy it still
  22. Swap Joey Barton's Father is a w***** and everything will be fine I guess
  23. It's pocket change in comparison to Wrexham though isn't it? Like I said, I'm not against a club like Wrexham getting the money and good owners, they're a traditional club who shouldn't be loitering in the Non League scene for as long as they have been. Hopefully Notts County go up and they get the same amount of recognition as Wrexham have got, but I doubt that will be the case.
  24. Yep. Real shame this. Would have loved the traditional grounds like Anfield, Old Trafford, Elland Road, Hillsborough, Ibrox to be used as they are cultural stadiums that have been part of British football for many a decade. It's sad that now you could look at a Stadium and have no idea what Country the game is being played in because they're all being built to potentially host a major Tournament game nowadays.
