  1. If only Bell had played in Mehmeti and not Sykes FFS..
  2. Thought we played quite well tbh. Fairly in control for the most of that half and imo it was a penalty. Player clipped Sykes.
  3. I think you're forgetting that Cardiff City were punching well above their weight in the Premier League that season with the team they had at their disposal. His recent record at Championship level is above average. You just don't like him and that's fine, I don't like his sides style of football either, but it's been successful up until today.
  4. Neil is not a vile man at all. When I was young I went to watch us play Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough. I had stayed overnight in Sheffield before the game and the day before went into Streetwise Sports only to see Neil Warnock, Phil Jagielka, Paddy Kenny and Michael Tonge signing autographs. Neil recognised our accents so we told him we were up to watch Bristol City play and he was honestly a lovely bloke had nothing but good things to say about City signed my football and told us to batter the Owls (we won 3-2). Definitely a different man away from the cameras.
  5. He took over Cardiff when they were bottom of the Championship, kept them up comfortably and then got them automatic promotion. The previous season to this he kept Rotherham up and they looked doomed before he took over. He did average at Boro. I'm sorry, you might not like him but to say his recent record isn't great is not true at all.
  6. I am in awe of how he just grabs games by the scruff of the neck and does something from nothing. Man United have needed a player like that since Rooney left.
  7. I'd say his remarks about us are now no longer insult worthy and more a compliment. Out of all the clubs in England he has played against in his long career we've wound him up the most.
  8. They do it every game at the Winterstoke Road entrance. Recently been a chap there shouting his mouth off directing people to walk a certain way too. Surely it's a public right of way and if you don't have a ticket you won't get into the Ground anyway. Just a bit annoying really
  9. Top 10 in the world, on current form since the World Cup.
  10. If we don't have a ticket we won't be allowed in the Ground anyway, just thought the guy shouting out loud about it is a bit unnecessary.
  11. Just thought our fluidity up front with Weimann constantly cutting inside or running into traffic/passing backwards slowed us down massively tonight. Sykes by comparison is much more direct and that suits us more. Away from home Weimann might be a good option but at home against sides sitting behind the ball he isn't a starter for me in the attacking areas at the moment.
  12. Some tosser from Winterstoke Road entrance shouting at people Saturday and Today to show their tickets. Get a proper job mate, we wouldn't be walking to the Ground for no reason. Jobsworths everywhere
  13. Wigan were hard. Would be difficult opponents for any team in this League with their display. Physical, battled well and defended well so credit where it's due. They'll stay up if they play like that most weeks. Today though I thought we were slow and lethargic. Never got going really. Maybe Saturday's game took it out of us a bit. However learned a few things tonight. Weimann is not a starter in a 433 in my eyes, as he disrupts our fluidity going forwards. He is far better in a counter attacking side. We missed Naismith's forward passes and creativity in the centre of Midfield. Cornick is not a CF and playing long balls up to him doesn't work and isn't his style of play. Mehmeti is a baller. We've learned a lot and hopefully Nigel has.

Still annoys me too. We'd just beaten Brighton away to stop them from winning the League and were now safe from relegation. In hindsight this was probably the whole reason Birmingham stayed up as our Management and Players decided to be on the beach after the Brighton match. Really poor from us and it was such a half hearted performance.

In freefall like City were in 2020/21. May just have enough points on the board already
  16. The good news: Cardiff more likely to be relegated with this appointment.
  17. Mr 'All about results' Couldn't be any more boring. Would be happy to have the likes of Pulisball down AG as long as we were winning. Stuck in the 80s. Thank god this club doesn't tolerate 'win at all costs' type managers.
  18. Bullies. Needed more heavy handed security staff to come over and help out. Steward was just doing his job, don't run on the pitch begging for a shirt, simple as that.
  19. Absolutely spot on. Can only think of a few 'bad' performances this season. Reading A, Birmingham A, WBA H. Said it even in December, the side haven't been far away all season!
  20. Oh you're not that terrible boss of Southampton Football Club are you? I oddly think he is trying to come across a bit like Holloway but getting it totally wrong. Sadly I think Holloway's strong Bristolian accent helps him getaway with the stupid statements he comes out with
  21. Fancy a 30 odd year old bloke turning around and smacking some 19 year old lad. Real brave
  22. Some of the long term contracts we handed out around 2008 - 2010 held this Club back years.
