I’ve been trying on sky bet to find the odds on derby staying up but they are not offering them . Depending on what business we do in jan I think you could have a good bet right there

Go to Betfair and lay them to be relegated. Same bet different way of thinking.

With power and pace.  That’s what he deems necessary for PL, which is the aim, however far that looks away at the mo’.

I’m surprised posters still think the way we are playing now is how he wants to play in 3 years time!

Power and pace. You mentioned Oli Mcburnie in another thread he would be perfect. Trouble is his off field character isn't great and now on prem wages. Not sure what his situation is at Sheff United after his arrest earlier this year.

  3. Petrborough and Barnsley both seem hell bent on returning to League one. We have a 7 point and 11 point cushion over them, respectively. If we lose to Derby then we still have a 19 point cushion over them. If the likes of Joe Williams are used sparingly and we have a decent window in January then we won't be troubled by the bottom 3. It may not be pretty but like the last week where we picked up 4 more points than a lot of posters on here predicted then we will be ok.

some city fans might decide not to travel to sheffield on Sunday, with the game now being live on sky

if you are going just make sure you have all match day tickets with you,

just in case some city fans will take a chance and head to the game with out a match day ticket

see all you hoardes in sheffield on sunday

It isn't if you don't have a red button. I have all the sky channels via Now TV it isn't on any of them.

Gutted to say it's a really good appointment, especially if he moves upstairs at the end of the season with Poch coming in

Not sure that is the 'shoe in' it was last week. Ragnick is to advise on new managerial appointment at end of season.

  6. Reading between the lines of NP'S press conference yesterday. Callum is making the most of his second chance but he needs to maintain it to earn a new contract at the end of the season.

  7. BCFC luxury players to my mind were Jacki, Andy Cole and possibly Louie Donowa. All floated around a lot and came up with the occasional spark of brilliance, None of them could be called 'team' players. Andy Cole in particular spent a large part of his Bristol City career standing in the centre circle waiting for the ball to come to him.

There’s a part of me that wonders whether they’re suffering because they recruited “safely” when they got promoted, i.e. preparing to get relegated….and then they stayed up, started recruiting differently and now left with a squad that peaked in 19/20 and has declined since.  Views???

Think the rot started when they signed Rhian Brewster. Never a Wilder signing / player and a large hole then in their transfer budget, at the time.

Why are they lucky? You could say England are lucky with the piss easy groups they seem to get.

No luck involved. England are always going to be seeded as no.1 in any group draw so will inevitably play inferior opposition. Wasn't always the case (74,78.94) you have to earn your luck on the pitch as England have done since '98. In fact for many years England were no.2 seed in qualifying and Tournament groups.

  10. Bought two Hot chocolates at half time.  Both nuclear hot and when we could eventually drink them we turned to each other and both said they were the worst hot chocolates we had ever tasted. Hardly any taste of chocolate and little or no milk. Suffice to say that is the last drink I buy in the ground. (also bought a coffee at one of the earlier home games. That too was nuclear hot and after burning my tongue I couldn't taste it anyway).

  11. I have read the question several times and still don't understand it. But to follow others my first game was at the start of the 70/71 League season vs Sunderland and I am led to believe (although I was 8 yrs old and had no idea) but a certain Gerald Gow made his league debut....... or that may have been when the Dolman Stand made its debut, happy to be corrected on either.
