Rooney pulling out all the stops - Now Sacked
Sheltons Army replied to Silvio Dante's topic in Football Chat
Mowbray confirmed on 2.5 yr contract Very good appointment , but a bit of a change from the star spangled Rooney idea -
That save from Fornas is probably as good , or remarkable save as I’ve seen from a City Keeper Certainly right up there - pure instinct , brilliant reflex with any whiff of luck thats needed - Banks esqe

Watching the highlights two bits that were of extreme quality yesterday that have had a brief mention in the odd review but generally lost in the enjoyment of the aftermath MOL’s save from Fornas , with his left arm hand.....Wow , going the wrong way , incredible reactions and how he kept that out with such a strong hand , forearm with a ball hit like that from close in - his reaction and contact with that ball had to be perfect or the ball riccochets into the net anyway Incredible save tbh and probably about a %10 chance in pulling it off - Quite brilliant Jason Knights , pass to Joe Williams for the goal , his reaction , awareness of the situation and Joes position , and a ‘training ground’ pass / technique to execute it - Again , quite brilliant , and matched by JW and TC in Parts II & III

Yep, and Spurs fans made the mistake of a foray in the East End before being escorted around the pitch to the open end

A lovely ‘natural’ reaction He absolutely , loves it . Loves scoring , Loves the limbs , doesn’t he ,

If we want Premier League Football, personally , think it would be far more realistic with him , playing a big part , than selling and trying to replace him.

Yes I thought both JK and AM both tucked into , almost old fashioned Inside Forwards second half Dave Def tweak and worked well

if you look at he SAG forum accusations , by their own , that the ‘vast majority’ , ‘hero worshiped him’

You were there Pete , but I go back to the question at the forum asking why U21 fixtures weren’t publicised by the Club Not only was the fact that our Head of Football & Chairman , it appeared , completely unaware , Dave Barton’s embarrassing mumbling ‘apology’ at the side was cringeworthy tbh , and sort of epitomised the ‘quality’ of the Clubs ‘Comms Department’ Im not sure what they actually do , or certainly do well’

Tbf , I’m no expert either , and tend to watch games these days , with less concentration , unless it’s City or a particular player I fancy watching Just a general impression with his teams over the years , decent football @Davefevs is probably the man to give us a more accurate view -
