The stream can have issues but usually it’s pretty decent. (In the USA at least) There are so many more problems with people at the BBC/BCFC forgetting/Not connecting the audio commentary. I’m not always in a position to watch like many, but pretty Much always in a position to listen and having been subject to some vision issues a while back am a bit sensitive to this. The biggest complaint to the provider is the non connection of the audio. I did ask for the match day hotline address for the visual and audio to be pinned once but to no avail. I know there is one IF someone has it on hand perhaps they could answer this post with it. First game of the season often gets effed up!

Yes I mentioned this on a FB post. We don’t know yet how poor the opposition really are yet. Time will tell. But you can only beat what’s in front of you and I’m confident NP asked for teams to put out crap for us to play. Or maybe not!

I do smile when people talk in terms of what price we should sell at and what WE could make. There is only, as usual, one person who matters in what value a player has. In this instance that fella has made it publicly clear. If something should change or the kid gets injured then I know a lot will say see told you so, however by and large the same people will moan about selling our best players and on the field failure. The Premier League was the catalyst to everything that has happened with money in football for 30 years. The idea in essence to maximize revenue in football at the top. In of itself not a bad idea if you are ever dumb enough to have faith in trickle down economics. However it has lead to where we are now. I read some stuff about super rich owners. One of the trailblazers of that was our own bloke but let’s brush over that for now. Once global money was pouring to the FA Premier League, by the early 2000s, the other major leagues had to follow to compete. This was then coupled with rich Americans buying clubs loading them with debt and eventually selling them on, which has been exacerbated by a consistently low pound. The fact now is the Saudi’s and various other despots with oodles of money, are copying the Russian oligarch model (the sag not withstanding) and they want a piece of the action. These guys unlike the septics don’t care about profit, they want glory. (My god some Ruskie got a life peerage) Race horse ownership is pas-see if you want influence it’s football you need to be in (If a **** club like derby can have questions asked in parliament and it’s tax debt forgiven or Wrexham can get government funding of 25m etc etc etc I can’t even imagine the influence you create for yourself at Man C or Newcastle) The west is a slave to capitalism and as such bows to its love of money and no one cares from where it arrives. That’s no surprise to The Arabs, China The Russians et al!

I’m hoping Scott starts the season with us at least now. The issue will be, who in the Premier League and for that matter German and even Italian, French and Spanish leagues needs to spend some money. The end of the transfer window is a way off yet. If the kid starts well and we look decent for the few weeks after the first game then any number of things may happen.

I think we will be competitive. If you can maintain the competition of the squad and on match day anything can happen over a season. Predictions in the most part are just the nature of the off season. People are bored and no one remembers anyway! I’ll just remain (very) hopeful!
