That wasn't my experience last season. Wasn't shoved or matched anywhere.

I was and my car was parked the other side of Tesco, nowhere near the train station. The Po told us we couldn't leave, then could, then couldn't, then could eventually.... Shambles sprung to mind. We weren't wearing City shirts or had anything that would imply we were City fans.

Apparently, we were 'being hunted'

yesterday i was on the phone for 4 hours trying to get a ticket with no luck, today i gave them a phone on the off chance when i got up at 1030 and went straight through and got one easy, happy days,

as for train travel there were no restrictions on going out last time but it was a full escort back to the station after the match, last time due to engineering work there were direct trains for Taunton not vir Bristol so it took a lot of pleading with a pc not to be put on a Bristol train

, hunted.

It's like chasing Shadows with Swindons lot, worse than the gypo horse smackers.

A mate has got me a ticket in a home stand.

No doubt I'll see all our travel hardy ST holders with me at Peterborough and Gillingham?

no bit skint after Fleetwood Coventry Barnsley and Swindon pal! Why try and belittle people that committed hundreds off pounds before a ball was kicked, just because you go to a few away games . Enjoy the home end tool

Nope, it's on sky, on a Friday, and not feasible to travel from Bristol for those who work on a Friday. As for Gillingham, nah, don't do cup games, except if it's a big prem team away in which case sham on!!!!!

Now, get off that high horse before a NLBR fan punches it. Yes going to away games as you claim to do is admirable, yes you are probably 'deserving' of a ticket if your claims are correct and yes it is unfortunate that you didn't get one, but every single bloody person knows at the start of the season and beyond if away games are oversubscribed priority goes to season ticket holders. This hasn't come out of left field or is anything new or novel and by not getting a season ticket you take your chances.

Until a new recognition scheme is in place the only way for you to GUARANTEE to be able to attempt to buy an away ticket is to get a season ticket. Even once a recognition scheme is in place, you can bet your bottom dollar priority will still go to season ticket holders in the main - because that's one of the damn benefits of a season ticket.

I don't understand why you haven't got a season ticket.

Not everyone can commit to 23 home games a season.. due to a variety of things that's the reason I don't. I tend to goto more away games myself as I find its just more fun to do.

There should be a reward scheme in place regarding away tickets.. On that note what happened to the 20 quid a year membership which gave priority tickets? That was a loyalty scheme which was a very good idea.

I don't understand why he doesn't understand what you buy a season ticket for.

A season ticket does not just entitle you to turn up to 23 home games, a season ticket entitles you to priority away tickets, priority cup game tickets, play off priority tickets, money off at megastore, food vouchers. The whole point is you don't just part with a few hundred quid for the home tickets, it is for that plus everything else that goes with it.

Pretty much me too.

I live 120 miles away from Bristol and travel a lot for work.

It's more a chore attending home than away lately, think I've sat all areas of the ground this year too cos of ticket pressure!!!

Away games way more enjoyable than home as a general experience of a day.
