They are tiny and completely lost. Strikes me the club have employed nobody with an architectural or design background or, if they have, they have no idea what they are doing. The screens at the Emirates are not only lower they are infinitely larger and with such superior sound quality with additionally spaced speakers as to not invade conversation; that takes foresight not what City have done which is to buy a job lot of cheap monitors from nearby Dixons. Overheard a conversation about problems with the PA (clear to everyone) and some pissed off people running about trying to sort. But maybe that's the problem, were the speakers in 'conflict' with each other ? were we in the Dolman hearing our speakers and the sound of the West Stand speakers carried across a split second later making it incomprehensible? No doubt the speakers have been tested in an empty stadium but add +22,000 and the acoustics must be very different. Was a few things that didn't quite go to plan today but I suppose that's to be expected with all the work that's been done and as a test event etc. Was mentioned at the Portsmouth Friendly and the Wigan game that the Tannoy is not clear in most stands, Dolman it seems to quite, most of SS it's just white noise, concourse and just outside the stadium... well actually it's almost perfect. Therefore allowing SAG to sign off the stadium is safe to use with no capacity restrictions? Based on this, I'm willing to give him a few more games and I think we all should. Listen to him, let him know what he's doing well and what he isn't. If he makes changes then he can continue. I agree it was quite bad today but he's taken the advice on board it would seem. Looking forward to seeing adjustments next Saturday. Dolman tannoy needs lots of work. That is all.
