old_eastender
2-1 Burnley, been coming since the start of the 2nd half where we just can't hardly get any possession. Edited September 17, 2022 by old_eastender Quote Link to comment
Admin Ian M Posted September 17, 2022 Admin Report Share Posted September 17, 2022 I thought Tella looked dangerous, Burnley commentators say he had his quietest game probably in a Burnley shirt Quote Link to comment

Spike
Let's be honest, that was last season all over again. Long period of sitting far far too deep, no pushing out at all, not winning the ball and holding onto it and it's cost us. I honestly do not understand why we do it, I understand gaining possession is hard against a team like Burnley but when we get it we can't seem to hold onto it at all and we fold. This just further emphasises that we need a player like Burnley have in Cork, a midfielder who can offer a simple pass out from the back three when the wing backs are not an option, instead we lump it up, lose it and invite more pressure upon ourselves. A few cycles in play of that and we concede, we need to be a lot stronger mentally when we are under pressure, as soon as we win possession we should be pushing that back line out and forcing the opposition back, not lumping it and sitting back allowing them to push us back deeper again. 2015
Been woeful this half to be honest. So wasteful when we've had the ball. Bentley not had a great game either Quote Link to comment
