Daughter used to work in House of Frazer and he was a frequent shopper . Be some achievement to keep them up . Not an impossible job . Wonder if he’ll use his connections at Ashton gate to get some loans ?

Didn't leave us on the best of terms so very much doubt it.

I hope he is successful in helping FGR avoid relegation, but Goodness, hasn't he aged since he left Ashton Gate?

I know he was seriously ill with COVID, and is obviously a few years older, but I find the difference quite striking.

Good Luck Steve, and Good Health.

Eight years since he left AG.

Doesn't look that much different to me, and not bad at all for someone who'll be 60 this year.

Not keen on FGR these days but sure Cotts will do well, they're very fortunate to have him.

I am not saying that he looks bad for a sixty year old man, just that I seem to remember him being particularly thick set.

His neck appeared (to me) to be slightly scrawny.

Anyway, as I said, I wish him well.

He was seriously ill with covid, so that will definitely have taken its toll. It’s been a long road to recovery.

Some great pics on West News of our double winning season, will be a long time before that happens again, then again we are still in the cup and great things are expected of our latest manager.....more chance of hell freezing over.

Was thinking the same.

I can’t stand them - hope they go down

I was listening to Talk Sport earlier and despite SC having huge experience , winning four promotions and two Cups - the only thing they managed to say about his appointment was " he's got the right accent to manage FGR".

I was so annoyed I almost spat out my cider,  stabbed myself with my pitchfork and kicked my sheep.

Should have just kicked the tyre on your tractor.

Spoke very well, humble, no BS or stupid jargon (as you would expect from SC) with an acknowledgement of the very tough task in front of him but with a confidence in his experience and knowledge that he can bring something to the situation. Is there enough time to turn it around? Who knows but I wish him all the very best - especially as FGR are my nearest FL club!

I was never a fan of SC when he was at City...but that doesn't mean I don't think he can do a good job at other clubs.

I too hope he keeps them up and progresses.

I'm also not a big fan of Dale Vince, but admire anyone that has a passion they believe in.

He did interviews today, that also came across as humble, admitting he'd made wrong decisions in appointing managers over the past couple seasons.

Pointing out that he thought at the time he'd made the right decisions, but they proved wrong.

It was refreshing to hear an owner admit that.
