What point?  You’re a huge hypocrite. The amount of bile you’ve come out with over your time on here as ‘Ghost Rider’ (cool name bro) and whatever you were called before that.
You even changed your name to take the piss out of a well respected poster on here. And you have a go at ME about being rude.   You’ve got a brass neck ‘Tim’.  Stick your xxx’s where the sun doesn’t shine.

Are you okay? You seem a bit angry. Maybe we can have a chat about my bile in the morning when you’ve had a sleep and calmed down. Look, it’s just football, everything’s going to be okay.

Also, you don’t need to put my name in quotation marks. It’s actually my name.

With him still in charge it has the feel of the tiny penis era, nondescript. At least with "triffic tone" you could smell gas, this guys so bland you can't smell anything. If you want a reduction on attendances then this possession based borefest swansea style that he alludes to will do it quickly.

Unwelcome 3pts that is comedy. So how often do you welcome losses then?

Well observed. Sticky gold star heading its way to young OXO cube. I don’t think you really understood ironic twist though, so C+.

Anyway, are you okay? Did you enjoy the game? Good 3 points wasn’t it. Let’s have a chat about football instead of little passive aggressive digs and cute little emoji wars behind our little fake names and avatars, its becoming a little tiring. 🥱 (little emoji for you there, as I can see you like to also send visual guides to illustrate your words).

‘Tim’

Young Oxo. Fantastic. Thanks fella!

You read your own posts I guess Tim?

I am ok. Thanks for asking. I hope you are well too?

However. The game was awful as we were largely.

The three points are welcome of course and takes the pressure off and I think that there is a deep exhale. Six points before we go to Stoke would be good

Passive aggressive 😂 I’ll brush over that.

Did you not play for Bath City? Or am I imagining that? I know a few people that have been there over the years? That bloody pitch! Sigh.

Does anyone know what Wilkins is on about here??

Unsure this is the right thread nut at very worst it was 14 from 12..

We had 18 from 14 all-in as the injuries were escalating and got 14 from 12, again  a month to 6 weeks of escalating injuries was part of that.

Not the first time he has proclaimed it either.

And that’s the issue with most people on here, it’s almost as if it’s not about Bristol City anymore, it’s about being right and wrong.

The drama of the “I told you so”.

Frankly, I couldn’t give two hoots about being right or wrong. Honestly couldn’t care less.

Nor me.

Do you honestly think that I want to be right about the Lansdowns being incompetent, egotistical, narcissistic w*****s, or Tinnion being a backstabbing snake in the grass, or Manning being so out of his depth he could rival the Titan submersible?

No. I don't.

But the evidence is there. For years in the case of the Lansdowns.

So I am.

Don't agree Birmingham was worse. I'm talking about entertainment, from both teams, not the performance from Bristol Cty. Birmingham fans would have been happy. The game against Swansea was dire with no effort from either team to entertain and frankly an insult to people who are paid a fraction of the so called entertainers.

Ones moaning about winning?

Again, I've looked through this entire thread and haven't seen one moan about winning. Granted, a couple have said winning was bad because they hoped a loss would have resulted in Manning's sacking - which in any case I very much doubt would have happened.

I can honestly say that game was even worse than some of the dross served up under SOD, although I suspect you probably didn't see any of that, count yourself lucky.

From what I've seen from your other posts, you are probably going to respond with an abusive/sarcastic/derogatory irrelevance.

I would hope that Manning watched Swansea play the way he seems to want us to play and might realise how ineffective it can be without the best players in the division. Swansea didn’t have a single shot on target all game and our only effort on target was the goal. If you wanted to see how football dies, this would have been prime evidence!

Swansea seem to me to be one of the most boring teams in league. Their 72 per cent possession stat is meaningless. For a team like us, we kind of had to play the way we did today to beat them.
Imagine how their fans must have reacted to today. (I’ve seen how some of our fans have 🙄.)

Nail on the head. I will be buying my season ticket but if the football carries on like it has for months now I shall just stop going at some point next season. The person I meet has confirmed to me yesterday that they have had enough and this season will be their last. Next season I am looking at both the standard of the football and the daft times we will be asked to attend it due to the tv deal and then make up my mind whether it's worth bothering from season 25-26 onwards. Last two home games I've walked out at 70 minutes (Cardiff) and 60 minutes (yesterday). Don't care what reaction it gets because the football is so bad it is a merited response imo.

"Liam Manning, your football is shit" will be heard around the Gate soon if he doesn't sort things out quickly. Would be totally deserved too, he's an arrogant **** who really thinks he's getting it right and the punters are just mugs. When even S82 fails to turn up you know a manager is on borrowed time.

I wonder if the death of football is:

“I only buy a season ticket now to meet my mates and for the social”

🤦🏻

There are literally 5 million things to do that are far less torturous than shelling out ££££’s a season to socialise and watch that drivel.

Games like yesterday, if repeated regularly, will do the game in ultimately. As somebody said if that garbage we sat through yesterday is an example of the "work" of two "progressive" coaches then perhaps we need to have a word with Dave Basset, John Beck, Neil Warnock and Wally ******* Downes and see if any of them are interested in taking a job here................

It's like the artist who has never sold a painting and is convinced it's only because the critics and masses aren't intelligent enough to understand his/her concepts. The masses and the critics have looked at it and thought "what is that piece of crap meant to be?".

Well at least in League 1, SO’D brought on some of the youngsters, acquired Pack, Flint and Fielding, plus whatever the situation, there was always JET, just in case it was getting too boring!

Saw a bit of it on Robin’s TV. Instead enjoyed a great day with wife and kids in capital and kept thinking how much money I’ve saved from not travelling to Bristol and the rest. Little motivation to go to other games now, football is so bad. First time also that I’ve not been to Ipswich away, had no motivation albeit a relatively easy journey. Manning has sucked the enthusiasm out of me.

It's not a one off though is it? Or is it always the opposition at fault that most of our games are generally a shite borefest?

Nothing more than a glorified academy coach that was once employed by the City Group, and given his perceived lack of interest in our academy players, I’d even question that. Not even close to being a championship standard manager.

If you take his last 16 league games, he's won six of them. That's a win percentage of 37.5. That's not terrible. And during that time, we've also beaten West Ham and drawn with Forest twice.

Another statistic....if you take the 13 games played in the league this year he's achieved twelve points, that is terrible.

Yes, he did very well for his initial spell of games (14 points in the first 9 I believe it was) and since then we have been terrible to watch in most games (bar perhaps three) and are not picking up many points either. It's an appalling mix for over half his short spell in charge. The last three home games have had zero entertainment value (I know, I know, the one before that had plenty but I don't pay decent wedge to see one great and three crap every four games).

15 from 10, 4 wins from 10..that being the first 10, broadly maintaining the level inherited (albeit 3 penalties in 10, especially 3 penalties in 4 Home League games..that assists.

Millwall at Home onwards yeah the downward trajectory begun. 3 wins and 11 points from 12, losing 4 of 6 at home 1-0, failing to score in 5 of 10 League games verbatim.

It seems to me that Manning doesn’t react to the opposition changes whether it’s tactical or personal which was highlighted at Ipswich midweek and imo that inertia cost us the game.

The home defeats to QPR and Cardiff were also examples not reacting to a high block - the very strategy he employed at Portman Rd which worked well in the first 45 but second half no changes of personal when McKenna made match winning substitutions.

He’s out of his depth in the Championship.

Also, going through a rough patch doesn't immediately mean a manager is out of his depth. Shortly after the start of the 22-23 season, Pearson managed 10 points from 13 games - with probably a batter group of players
