  1. Was truly incredible today, again. He’s really carried us defensively at times this season. And he was pretty much signed by Sykes. Says it all really
  2. Last two games has made it even clearer to me he’s heading straight for the nest egg, full steam ahead. His goals are drying up, the “saviour” arc & buzz that he had after Rotherham hasn’t continued at all, and he’s hardly impacting games. Certainly can’t do it solo anyway. Had interest in the summer, and those conversations are probably on a simmer ever since, and Alex going will only be turning his head more. Be truly amazed if he’s here this time next year, and wouldn’t even rule January out.
  3. As I said in MDT, play like that against Boro and it’ll turn sour very quickly. That was really, really bad. If anyone was of the opinion that Pearson not being a ‘touchline manager’ made Any difference during games, case in point it makes no difference whatsoever. I’ve no idea why we try to play through & not over first half, they had a very high line and we had pace on the wings. Southampton away after Boro too, talk about baptism of fire. JL & Tinnion currently writing up their narrative for back tracking re: this not being a top 6 squad.
  4. All I’ll say is, if it’s like that for the home game against Boro, things will probably get sour quite fast.
  5. Ego maniac scouser, constantly screaming in the face at officials, whored himself out to loads of clubs at each managerial job he’s at since MK…. Fits them perfectly, will pick up where Joey left off!
  6. Can’t be right….no end product, too weak, needs to go to L1 etc??
  7. Did they get permission from Rennie to check Atkinbaeur could play?
  8. They will typically release all info on the day of the game mate, but 21s games are all no tickets needed, free entry through the side entrance of HPC, and free parking at QEH next door.
  9. Another one who’s had some very very senior roles at a young age. Haven’t heard of a dual coach and analyst role, ticks the progressive box. Obviously a key part of their set up. Exciting
  10. Honestly, I’m finding it all a bit strange. First day of training, okay, maybe I can kinda get it. But to be there on the Second day too….Weird. Why? Is he going to critique their sessions?
  11. No, He didn’t discover them
  12. Will almost definitely be the latter
  13. Just been to collect my ticket, only 40 remaining on sale now.
  14. Not saying it’s a bad thing he’s in that role at all, we’ve absolutely been crying out for it for years. Just found it odd to follow him Round all day. Gave me the vibes of Sir Alex always being in attendance at United games and the Sky cameras panning to him whenever they conceded. As someone else mentioned, I do personally think he’d be nowhere near the role somewhere else. It’s a hell of a leap from academy/loans to what he’s doing now, and in that sense falls under “very under qualified” for a job. Don’t get me wrong, love him, one of my hero’s, really pleased we finally have someone in place at that role, but also slightly uneasy at someone so inexperienced in that ‘remit’ having it. As you say Fevs, scrutiny/praise should be with him as much as anyone else now.
  15. THEY’VE ONLY BLOODY GOT OUT “ON THE GRASS”!!!! Come onnnnnnn
  16. I have to say, I’ve found the Tinnion lurking stuff all very very odd. Lurking at the front of him addressing the players, next to the cameras for the press conference, watching him being filmed for club media, now you can see him stood on the sideline watching the first training session. half expecting him to be in the dugout on Saturday!
  17. I’d also not totally rule out that those being ignored were club (I.e Tinnion) decisions, not just manager. Maybe a combination of the two of them.
