I hope he turns out to be better than Mahrez as I've never been a fan of that show pony, even if he does have a good game now and then.
This must be a wind up surely? The only thing he's not won in domestic football is the Champions League (of which he was a runner up)

Guessing that with the FA Cup away ticket allocation, we will give them the entire Atyeo, rather than a proportion of it.
I hope so to be honest as the atmosphere will be electric and so segregation means a full house!

I have no idea as to his salary but I would guess it is substantially more then £2,000 pw.
Closer to the £10k I would think, I heard from someone who knows someone that Max is on that plus a £1k clean sheet bonus

Not sure if it's been posted but this West Brom supporting father son combo do a nice away day blog which is a good watch:

The replay up there was 1-1 again I think and we lost the toss for choice of venue for the 3rd game. We did indeed get spanked 5-0 in that.
That's it good work!

Fifth round. We’d got past Swindon (a division higher at the time) and Chelsea, only to get knocked out by Cambridge.
I went to all 3 games when I was 10! Great times! Didn't we play Cambridge home and drew 1-1 then got spanked away 5-0 and Dion Dublin was on fire!

Great finish in injury time!

How does that work then?
I saw the bottom up glass filling at Trent Bridge when I went to the Ashes first day 10 years back, they did 4 at once in seconds, I don't know why it's not more widespread technology

The crowd sound brilliant on RB, really loud.
It's funny, when we play well and win the atmosphere is great, no issues with dodgy acoustics, location of the singing section etc etc blah blah blah! The key to a great atmosphere is the team playing well and winning

This shows where we are as a club.
It's in a sorry state.
One that's willing to sell not only a key asset. But one that is virtually unreplaceable in terms of what he brings. In the middle of the season, when we are scraping results at the bottom half of the table.
Dire. We are in a mess. I think its time the lansdowns went. The quicker, the better.
News flash we are not the biggest football team in the world, the way football works is bigger (or should I say Premier League) clubs buy players from smaller (non premier league) clubs. We then buy players from smaller clubs (e.g. Matty Taylor) and then bigger clubs buy our players. Even Man Utd have their players bought from them by Real Madrid. It's the way it works, and the way it's always worked. It doesn't show a lack of ambition at all, it's just the natural order of football.

Where were Rovers last season before they surged to 3rd?
You should be keeping an eye on Huddersfield's and Blackpool's games in hand, as it could leave you only four points above the drop zone. With your poor home form at the library, this has to be a concern.
You've been relying on teams below you being more s*it than you are for too many seasons and eventually this will catch up with you.
Thanks Dad

I'm sorry, given Stewart's standing at the time (having helped Sunderland to the PL the season before) and the fact that Bas Savage was viewed as a preferable option, it is very difficult to believe that the decision was made on a purely football basis. Looking from outside, you would have at least reasonable grounds for presuming that something else had influenced this decision.
It is at the very least odd to replace a striker of Stewart's standing with a player who would look more at home on the Downs.
And weren't you once a very vocal critic of Gary Johnson? Have you since had a Damascene conversion?
Who gives a shit really, it was years ago! Marcus was great for Rovers, fair do's, he went on to bigger things and did well before ending up back at City where it didn't work out, so what? Why do you care so much? GJ didn't like him, who cares? Such tedium!

I could only see this working if the number of white cards equates to something like an extra point or whatever, so instead of players diving and faking injury, they were helping each other up and getting in with the game, but it's massively subjective and would end up causing controversy I'm sure

I had a Twitter debate with Phillips a couple of years back (I'm not on it now) where he got very upset that he hadn't been included in some City Legends event, the long and short of it is he felt he was a City Legend and I felt he wasn't!

Always liked Arsene Wenger as a manager personally. I thought the way he kept Arsenal qualifying for Champions League Football for so many years given the budget he had was an immense achievement.
City wise....Joe Jordan
He revolutionised football in this country and was ahead of his time in many ways. I think he probably stayed too long at Arsenal in the end but interestingly as part of the financing arrangements for building the Emirates, there was a clause that Arsene Wenger had to stay as manager, as a sort of insurance policy, so he actually had added pressure on his shoulders and this was also a reason he stayed on.

That guy at Wolves Nuno Espírito Santo I really liked, would love someone like him at some stage. After Big Fat Benny we have never taken the plunge with a foreign manager and it would be an exciting change to the norm!

"To be fair" you are in 9th Place in league one having played more games than all of those around you. It is statistically unlikely (and they may have to play each other) but if Exeter, Port Vale, Charlton, Oxford, Shrewsbury and Portsmouth win their games in hand you could find yourselves 15th - So yeah definitely rubbing shoulders with the top 6!
Despite this one of your lot decides to lump your poxy club in the league one playoff picture with the likes of Ipswich and Derby by using phrases like "the other big six clubs" and then compound his/her needy fantacism by spouting shit about 12k attendances. According to https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/bristol-rovers/attendances this is something you have not had since 2016, when, being generous, you got 11750 for millwall at home. For an actual 12K attendance you need to go back to West Brom in March 2008!
Notice also that depsite you trying to cast shade on us, no poster from the red side suggested we were bigger than the three clubs at the top of the attendance list that was posted - those clubs have been in the premier league and are well supported and often attracts gates in excess of ours BUT we certainly have a far stronger case for calling them "our peers" having spent far longer in the same division as these clubs/the championship in the last 2 decades than the gas.
Peopl;e ask why this thread exists - this exactly why - your fanbase is filled with cretinous needy morons who desperately cling to any sliver of hope that they are in soime way as good or better than us. If your fanbase were more realistic or humble, half the ammo that is used to load the gun of this thread disappears.

This has happened quite a few times over the last few years with little or no impact. Man Utd get nearly 80,000 and Man City nearly 60,000 so it's no wonder they don't have capacity for policing and transporting 140,000 at the same time for a few hours, but not an issue here with total crowd no more than 30,000
