May not be a popular view but do think that price should be higher

Interesting to see how wells and Conway get on together in the league

If you've got sky q, it usually comes up as an option, sometimes if you record the "main" match, it will ask which one you want to record.
I'm down here at my parents until tomorrow, so won't be able to check until I get home, hopefully around later afternoon.
Haven't seen it mentioned anywhere yet though.
Not coming up as an option on SKY Q for this week , just the main games on Tuesday & Wednesday

I think it might have been a dig at BS3 Talk which I think was the club's official pod?
Never heard of BS3 Talk

It’s a not so subtle dig at 3 Peaps, which does appear to have close ties to the club.
I just find it odd as they know the 3 peaps guys listen to their pod, and the 3 peaps guys do make reference to FBC occasionally, never in a derogatory manner either.
I always thought FBC got a lot of unfair stick, yes they’re on the more negative side but that never really bothered me, it’s all about opinions but it seems to have come back this season with a bit of an attitude. Odd as it will drive listeners away
A little childish to have a dig at another pod @headhunterif the above is true
-
@headhunterwhat is the official club podcast that you mentioned today? I’m only aware of 3Peaps, OSIB and yourselves - wasn’t aware of a fourth one

I reckon they will stay up, quite easily actually. I rate Steve cooper and their home support will see them get a few points at home. I know their transfers this summer look a bit random but it’s certainly brave
Who do you see going down?

Yes I heard this a few days ago and alluded to it in another thread. The offer would have to be very significant but the lad is in the form of his life and a shot at the prem or another big league will turn his and the clubs head.
Certainly couldn’t blame him - didn’t he take a pay cut to stay here ?

Yep, little things to work on. We sometimes got the press working well yesterday, and others it looked haphazard, not triggered properly. On a hot day that saps energy. But at least it is something that can be worked on.
But with a small group of players taking up a disproportionate percentage of that budget. If our playing budget is below £18m, then Kalas, Dasilva, Bentley, Wells and Massengo are taking up a third of it! Budget might be more in line with those clubs Dave, but not created in the sane way. That’s the difference. Lopsided wage bill. Why do you think Nige wants to address that?
And when we’ve had 3,4,5 years of working to a sensible budget we can see how we compare.
LJ would never work under this budget. It’s now less than the wages / playing budget he started 17/18 with, which also had significant FFP headroom to recruit. We spent £12m that summer, plus the wage bill increase.
Think I’m with you on the Pearson situation, think as a club we’ve made a decision to stick with NP to get us through this difficult period financially. NP is clearly accepting of our ‘budget’ and is supportive of promoting the youngesters. You only need to look at our recruitment and how many players have we paid a fee for? Atkinson? He’s clearly reduced the wage bill as demonstrated by SL’s comments, and his comments appear to contradict the many on here’s view that James & King are on substantial wages. Interesting to hear that looks like weinmann is off so interesting to see what budget NP will be given.
The club is a mess , and for me one person is responsible

Yep, plus the novelty of being allowed back into grounds after Covid wearing off.
Quite possibly , I’m sure Blackpool on a bank holiday weekend will increase that following. Personally looking forward to Burnley away
-
Think away followings across clubs will fall significantly as the season progresses. With the estimated costs of energy bills , inflation and interest rates , people will have more essential bills to pay than an afternoon at the football

Doubt it. SL sounds like he has lost his mojo, and Jon has never really been interested has he?
OK - so whats the number that makes them sell the holdings company? Valuation anyone?
No doubt SL has lost his mojo but after 25 years and x millions of pounds will they look at the ground, training centre , Bristol Sport etc and see that as success or a failure as we’ve only ever come close once to making the PL

SL has put in around £170m in the past 10 years and not achieved a single season of Premier League football. No other club has spent that much and failed to get to the Prem, and many clubs have got there spending far less.
In the 2020/21 season, which we started under Holden, we had the seventh highest wage bill in the Championship.
Supporter expectation has always been pretty reasonable, SL ultimately just hasn't delivered.
There is the problem for such a huge expense we should have achieved more, I acknowledge some of the expenditure has been on off the field such as the ground , training ground etc. I would be interested to know if the Lansdowns feel they’ve been successful?

Can’t see how Wednesday can be played , if not safe to play on today then unlikely to be ok for Wednesday ?
"We've been let down, there's no doubt about that, and the pitch has to be in better order - it has to be safe for people to play on and, at this moment, it's not.

If it is i wont be listening - most negative City fan on the planet, the sort that will want City to lose so NP loses his job so he can say ‘told you so’
If we don’t get a result against Sunderland , Pearson out will start with no clear replacement or acceptance of our current financial position.

For City to launch their kits early and with stock is really going against the trend it seems…
Just a shame the club only offer the home kit as a mini kit and not away

The temperature peaked up here a couple of hours ago and is starting to slowly drop, it's quite breezy today as well which means it doesn't feel quite as hot as yesterday even though the temperatures are similar.
Tomorrow is about 15 degrees cooler although I don't think we're due any rain until Friday.
Hopefully it’s coming east - still 36 degrees here !!

I understand how frustrating your day must have been, as a parent who has taken my daughter then my son with various levels of success in various situations.
Unfortunately, and I say this with no hint of malice, the behaviour of others is seen as far more unacceptable when you're stressing about what your kid is hearing. It's not going to change because you don't want to hear it.
My kids always knew that a condition of going to football is that what you hear there, stays there. I hope your next attempt works out better for you!
It’s good advice , my old man used to say to me I’d hear bad language at the football but under no circumstances was I to repeat it and if I did he wouldn’t take me. I swore at home a lot during the Pulis tenure
