Thank you for asking.  I've suddenly become very anaemic, and they are trying to find out the cause, a scan has hopefully ruled out the cancer having returned, I've been unvelieveably tired and short of breath.  I had an iron infusion, which has helped.  I've got to have the camera down the throat thing done, and also see the kidney people as my kidneys have gone back to stage 4 CKD, oh, and an Echocardiogram to check my heart.  The scan showed that I have gallstones, although no symptoms. I'm still alive and kicking though, plenty to be thankful for.

All best wishes to you @In the Net

Ref missed the handball in front of her for the penalty but gave a free kick when she on the other side of Lucy Bronze!

I’m sure their keeper handles the ball well out if the area second half but TV never showed it (t’was just after the penalty).

Tbh if he does well we could get more money for one.

That aside, ignoring his exceptional talent, he has been as far as we know, a consumate pro- playing in pre-season, kicking up no fuss etc..that could have changed had it dragged on but he has conducted himself impeccably.

I don't often miss departing players, managers or even CEOs so much but Scott is an exception to the rule, Gould is one with respect to CEO and I NP will be as and when he goes.

Agreed. Behaved far more professionally than say, Famara, who appeared to goon strike for a month.

  4. So, let me catch up here…

    a) Investor is a Kuwaiti

    b) Kuwait is a rich country, (there are no non zillionaires in Kuwait after all). so

    c) Investor HAS to be mega wealthy, and

    d) Will be happy to splurge his kid’s inheritance on the South Gloucestershire Go Outdoors discount outlet.

    Have I got that right?

Probably more apposite for this thread are the words of the American philosopher, Rumsfeld, who said:

" There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know.

There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we we know we don't know.

But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know that we don't know."

Donald Rumsfeld was my boss Becki the day.

Remind me, what four clubs contested the Play Offs last year?

I love statistics, my favourite concerns drunk drivers, according to my local police 20% of drivers breathalysed after an accident had been drinking, which must mean , to a statician that if we can ban the 80% of sober bastards life would be a lot safer for the rest of us ?

A nice example of confirmation bias in action, but made me smile anyway ?
