You’ve said it’s a good use of £2m, so basically you’ve called him a waste of money already before he’s even kicked a ball?

I’ve said for a while now, for an organisation that is so trigger happy for anyone who is the slightest bit average in their role, they don’t half back someone who, after about 7 years in the job, still can’t even read the pages on a ******* clipboard properly.

Yeah, we sign a bloke on a 4 year deal but he gets hit with a truly horrific bacterial issue, that absolutely no one has any control over, that means he’ll miss about 10% of that contract length, let’s just release him, admit he’s a total waste of money and call it a day.

Are they coming for us again?? 31 days after sacking R Joe, and no one in that well oiled establishment has any idea who to appoint despite interviewing half the coaches in England. Class.

Funnily enough, the total antithesis of how he was at MK & Oxford. I imagine he’s realised the situation he’s walked into, and has clocked that he can’t be as ‘cold’ with fans as he was there.

Good thing Conway didn’t go on international duty tho, might’ve only touched the ball twice so far rather than five times if he did -

Some quite interesting pre match warm up drills tbf, would be surprised if we don’t see some quite clear differences to our play today. -
Pearson also regularly spoke about “being the best version of yourself” etc which was pretty cliche, if you wanted to see it as so. As you say, it’s pretty standard in any line of work.

Best football ever seen, crikey you’ve not had a blessed time following City then.

Bridgy really embarrassing themselves on social media over the last day. Bragging massively about being top after beating Nailsea & Tick last night, and how that justifies the change. Failing acknowledge they’re only top because they’ve played about 3 games more than everyone else. setting themselves up for a bit of a fail. Excited to see it!

He did re-rupture his acl, but apparently all the injuries since have been quite bad hamstring ones. I assume quite common if they’ve taken muscle from the hamstring to repair the acl?

I’d heard last week that it’s, sadly, become career concerning at this point.

No Atkinson in training then..

All that faff and excitement for something that is akin to something in the national league

Gavin Williams had a serious love/problem with booze. Needs to be included somewhere.

So he is. So he’s basically been in the background of everything Manning related the club have put out so far. I’m in the camp that him going out there watching training, especially 3 weeks in, is odd behaviour. What does he gain out of that? First one, or two, I can maybe get out of curiosity or to maybe be seen as giving Manning support, but basically 3 weeks in….it gives OFSTED inspector watching a teacher vibes.
