The non-official Burnley v City in the FA Cup match day thread

When will we win again, good question.

It is bad enough watching your team lose at home, but fair play to the 600+ that have gone up for the match today.

Been to all the home matches and couple of away ones and it is no fun at all watching your team make silly mistakes and get punished for it every time.

IMO it is these mistakes (mostly with players not being under pressure) that starts with the odd one or two then spreads throughout the whole bloody team.

The team also seem to have a knack of playing well for 20 mins and then allow the opponents to gain in confidence and then dominate. We seem to be unable to turn the screw when we do get in front, but sit back and allow the other team to come at us with the inevitable results

Commentary sums it up really " been a dull match but City upping their game in the last 90seconds or so" To little too late AGAIN.

Yes Major don't you know, the idea that form or luck exists anymore is an ancient concept. We are doing badly no, which means we have always been bad, the Manager never won a single game ever and the players were never any good. Have you never read 1984?

"Don't you see that the whole aim of Newspeak is to narrow the range of thought? In the end we shall make thoughtcrime literally impossible, because there will be no words in which to express it. Every concept that can ever be needed will be expressed by exactly one word, with its meaning rigidly defined and all its subsidiary meanings rubbed out and forgotten."

(L)LLLWLLLLLLLL

...The concept of bad luck has been forgotten here. Luck evens itself out...Giving away goals is not bad luck

There might be, I don't know. But my feeling is that if we get done on Tuesday for a fifth consecutive time at home then that will be that for Johnson

Johnson will have the next two games and if they are both defeats I cannot see how he will be kept on.

We makes mistakes because we are pressed. Teams don't make mistakes against us because we don't press. Wolves first goal today came from pressing a drawing a free kick 15 seconds in at Anfield. Tired of us just sitting back allowing teams to pick us apart. It's a horrible cycle at the moment.
