So, cash in the bank from a record sale, wage budget curbed, manager with only months left on his contract and now CEO gone...sale/new ownership imminent or just one big omnishables?

No one knows why he's gone (or even gone officially), so who knows?

If there is no notice period, it might strongly suggest kicked out (for whatever reason).

Might make SOTC interesting tomorrow.

personally will wait and see. Looking forward to visiting for Plymouth on Tuesday night and more concerned about what happens on the field than waht may or may not have happened off it....

Everything that happens on the field is supported and derived from what happens off it. Clubs in turmoil behind the scenes rarely do well on the pitch in the long term.

We don't all need to experts on boardroom politics and financial matters, but we should all care that it's being done right.

Alexander leaving means we're onto potentially our 4th CEO in two and a half years. Ashton left on 31 May 2021, Gould at the end of January 2023, and now Alexander. However you cut it, it's not exactly stability.

Maybe, but the speed that this has happened after recent public appearances, would point to a sacking imo.

Struggling to think why.

Bloke couldn’t have been more pro SL in his media outings if he took tips from North Korea.

Seemed from this distance to be doing exactly what was expected, spinning that total nonsense about “still ambitious”, “top six”, “competitive budget”,  “Luton are the latest club we are trying to copy”..

Stability of ownership, manager and head of development more important and we have that - would have preferred if RG had stayed but ECB came calling and that's a huge role. New CEO has not been in place long enough to be missed.

Has to be towing the party line and be fully signed up to Lansdown Inc behind the scenes too. There was some noises he, like others before him, was troubled by the footballing operation.

One thing for sure, is there is nowhere to hide for Steve and Jon now, and one of them needs to give a statement on this & a general footballing update.

Fair enough but that wouldn’t necessarily suggest a sacking, would it?

More like sod this, I’m off..
