  2. @Kid in the Riot not sure why you're acting childish again and trolling me with a laughing reaction but here you go https://ibb.co/fvkZrwj Such a shock that a guy that lives in Weston-super-Mare goes to watch a BBC show being filmed in the town. Please feel free to pm me and I'll send you the video of what I said.

  4. Oh boy, takes me back. Poorly on the settee with a bottle of Lucozade watching Look and Read, Words and Pictures, Watch, ZigZag, Maths File, Music Time, Search Out Science, Geography File, then a break for lunch with Mr. Benn, Cockleshell Bay (had to change channel for that one), then early afternoon you had a few more progs before Beat the Teacher, Grange Hill et Al came on. I learned more watching those when I had chicken pox and mumps than I did at school.
  5. Just need to showcase them to that Tony Hart Gallery music
  6. Looked like Donny were trying to do a lap of honour
  7. Still in single figures as it turns out. March 2015. Presumably next March I get a carriage clock and an extra days holiday?
  8. I use livescore.com or flashscore.co.uk Neither are perfect but excellent for fixtures and scores.
  9. Translation from BEIN : Ligue 2: Heroic Diony, Angers is almost in Ligue 1! 10/05/2024 - 22:04 Crazy match between Angers and Annecy that finally saw the SCO win at the very end of the game thanks to a goal by Loïs Diony (1-2). With this success, the Angevins steal second place in Saint-Étienne one day from the end of the championship and have one foot in Ligue 1.
  10. Pittance in the grand scheme. I've said it before, it genuinely feels like maybe not everyone and maybe I'm wrong but people or some bodies are bending over backwards to try and avoid Everton going into administration..-2 for a 2nd Breach, I'd actually have appealed that as the PL- wider financial consequences be damned.
  11. Not sure why but I just cannot get motivated by league two.
  12. The Healthcare part of my company used to have a regional office on the left as you come down the steps from the tube station Can remember the area being like a ghost town on non match days. Ironically the only time you'd see people was when the Fountain TV studios were being used for X factor etc I went back to Wembley the day after the recent Brazil game (stadium tour), my partner was delighted with the shopping area and I was surprised how busy it was
  13. I wonder how many people realise that Louie Donowa played for Willem before us?
  14. I was at a coaching session in Yate tonight. 3 kids wearing City kits. On the next pitch, there was 4. Number of quarters on display - 0. BS37 is Red
  15. Taylor looks like a throwback centre-half. If the ball’s there to win, he’ll attack it.
  16. I know, that was my reply to a Cov fan….why not try the ticket exchange next season as a trial, gather your data, assess the impacts of the tv deal, then evolve from there the season after.
  17. Piercy is a damn good sports writer. When I think of Greg Gregor MacGregor and others he is streets , nay , whole suburbs ahead.
  18. Sliding Doors here. We don’t get that Dodgy penalty and then how does the rest of their season pan out…
  19. My guess would be no and I'd guess why is because you want the player to be fine with signing it the deal, for one reason if you're letting the club add an option you're letting the club keep you around without giving you a pay rise, if you're good enough to be kept around for another year why not just offer you a new deal? We've usually offered second contracts quickly to tie down ones we like after their first pro so I don't think it makes a big difference.
  20. He's a high risk man. When it's fails he runs off (here and others) When it works he looks like a god (Ipswich). I don't think he did anything differently at Ipswich but stumbled across a great manager. In an alter universal they don't get promoted and face the same financial problems he put us in.
  21. We did. In fact I remember a Tannoy announcement saying they were going to let us out first and keep the Shrews fans behind!
  22. And when ambulance call centres were made central as part of some ill thought out economy drive by the government there were a couple of instances of them being sent to the Golden Mile when they should have been in South Devon. They soon changed it back to regional.
  23. Tributes after former Steel Pulse drummer Conrad Kelly dies - BBC News Conrad Kelly, the drummer from Steel Pulse
  24. The amount of foreign owners in the game does grind me a bit. The premier league has gone out in its own now as fast I can see. Foreign owners and crazy money signings But lower leagues (all us other lot). Why do not local rich people and business invest in their local footy team?
  25. Feltham staying at Portishead! Massive for them!
