Hate Arsenal almost as much as the Gas so really really hate that. It's terrible. Not City as far as I'm concerned.

You need to let go of that hate brother

This was in the EP, in Feb 1994. Fans got to choose from a selection of five designs for home shirt and from three for the away shirt.

I remember that, some terrible ideas there, I have the C shirt, Nibor, the hallmark of quality ??

This country has well and truely gone to the dogs in so many aspects.  Transport in Bristol has been terrible my whole lifetime, and it’s embarrassing that pre WWII they had a team system, and pre 70’s still had local train network.  How many millions have been wasted on new bus routes etc over the years!

Dont get me started on GP surgery’s! ??

‘Great’ Britain is a contradiction in terms! Why couldn’t I have been born in the south of France or the Tuscan coast! ??

Well quite. Like any City fan wouldn’t want to be in Roma’s position.

Not me, especially with such a has been in charge hey Super ??.  So what if he’s won 2 champs leagues with different teams, won the league with 4 different teams in 4 different countries, and the only manager to win all 3 European cups with 3 different clubs including with Man Utd in the middle of their slump, and various cups to boot, he’s not got it anymore ??

Yes he always says how many trophies he has won although he counts the Charity Shield just to boost up that number.

Jose is one of the greatest managers of all time and he’s proven it over and over, I can’t believe that’s even in doubt

If I was Tammy. I’d stay in Roma the next 3 years. Don’t be too eager to jump back into the PL. Look at Lukaku

Agreed, he’s loved by the fans in Rome, playing well, chance to win things I’d say, he must be earning plenty of €€€€€€, don’t come back for an extra few £££££!

I never said they were a charity. I never said it wasn't up to any individual whether they use a cashout facility or not, or whether you HAVE to cashout, and it isn't just an option. I have told you exactly why they are a con, you are getting paid way under the true odds - that is a fact, not made up, an actual fact.

If cashing out is not taking advantage, then why don't they pay out a cashout at the price you actually have whether your other selection wins or loses, or even with a small takeout rather than taking a huge slice from it?

Maybe con is strong word, but they are only offering a cashout because it makes THEM money and not the customer. Bookies are after mug/losing punters, they don't want people who can beat them, cashout is a prime example of free money for them week in, week out.

And remember a computer system with AI will be working out the cash out values in the moment and will take into account all of the bets across its book to come up with a figure that works for the bookie, clever stuff

Follow the thread!  But at 5.35pm yesterday she was offered £95k and turned it down.  Some people questioning if it was a complete stunt by Betfair thou..

no way would you not accept £95k, even when I heard Man City were 2-0 down I still thought it wasn’t over, and I was right!  If they did turn it down then it’s pure greed

Oh, it was above board. No problem with that in itself. But I thought (and I haven't looked closely) that NUFC's main driver behind the move was to cripple Burnley's attack and assist their relegation - if it was a genuine move for a player they wanted then I withdraw my accusation.

Remember that Matty Taylor bloke, didn’t somebody sign him to stop his previous club with their promotion charge? ??

Pitch invasions have been going on for over 50 years, lots of incidents have happened in that time ( City Rovers 96 anyone!). The big difference nowadays is that every game has tv cameras picking up every little incident.

These assaults have always gone on, we ourselves have done it in the past ( during our pitch invasions), and opposition players have got punched.

There are always a few idiots who do stupid things, and that will never change. But extreme ideas like going back to fences are way over the top.

Going to football nowadays is like going to a crèche  compared to the 70’s and 80’s, where you literally took your life in your hands going to some places. Violence was an every Saturday occurrence back then.

Correct, didn’t Holloway get attacked on the pitch once upon a time back in the day?  Also didn’t Warnock get a knock in the playoff pitch invasion?  The difference now is the amount of cameras and footage that captures this stuff

  11. So many people blaming the youth of today, so many people on the ‘didn’t happen in my day’ high horse.  All these opinions do is make you sound bitter and twisted that you are old and the youth arnt!

As others have posted, every generation gets smeared by the older generations for being out of control and wastes of space, it’s total cobblers based on nothing but bitterness and rose tinted glasses!

    Get over it Grandad’s!

The problems there run deeper than the coaching. They seem to have adopted a similar recruitment process to 2000’s Real Madrid, buying good players but without considering the team. Not so much galacticos, more like desperados.

The new guy at Man Utd will want to bring in a similar approach to Ajax bringing through the young players etc etc which is great, but will he be given the 3 years time to make this work is the real question.  I doubt he will and they will panic and go back to big name managers and chucking money at players
