Graham76
The worst part is seeing the lack of class shown by Jon Lansdown. He's there smirking in the interview, basking in the limelight.

Bazooka Joe
I like Joe, and I'm sure his intentions are good, but this will very probably be another PR car-crash. Joe should have been advised against assisting them with their badly thought out, and stuttering PR strategy. The only benefit for Joe as a comedian actor, might be that Calamity Jon's responses will have everyone in fits of laughter (but more probably, raging anger). If JL comes across badly and drops a load of clangers as expected, then how is that Joe's fault, or reflect badly on him? The PR from City is dreadful, and tomorrow will expose this again. Is what it is, at least we all know where we are with it.

Joe is in a new gig as presenter of the breakfast show. Of course he's going to do it. It will bring listeners and attention to his show.

andrew_cryer
Just listened to the first section on 'why they sacked' Pearson. Nothing new really. Lansdown accused Pearson & co of deconditiong the players - and then said 'he did at least do some good work with the women's team'.

Loosey Boy
Top 10 budget…..really? Find that hard to believe now! Making the decision now he’s in the final part of his contract. We’ve got another 30-odd games to go. Why not get the injuries back and then see where we go? The Lansdowns and Tinnion wanting any excuse to get rid. To be replaced by……a manager from the lower leagues! 2

Ability to out perform the budget - potentially, but not with the injuries we have and the table is a bit false given how tight it is. Feel like he’s clutching here. And he’s says we’re in a better place with stability - surely that gives you confidence the improvement can continue, plus they’ve essentially removed that stability

Jose
Really no point reading much into what he says. We know it’s constant bullshit. I’d be laughing if I was Nige. Enjoy your rest and be glad you are out of this shitshow being managed by the three buffoons.
Popular Post Ron W
Let's take the top-10 budget comment on face value for a second. We were a top-10 team until we lost our last two games - to Ipswich who have had the best start of a promoted side ever, and Cardiff where we couldn't name a full bench. We play 24th and 23rd in our next two games, take at least four points from them we'd almost certainly be back in the top 10, if not higher. Had NP really got such little credit in the bank that two games either way from being a top-10 team is enough for the chop? 25 2

Roe
"top 10 budget" yet the best we've done in 13 years is 8th, once. Who's taking responsibility for the constant failure from above then? We need proper journalists ripping these pricks a new one 8

Roe
Blaming out preparation over international breaks.. The first one we came back, drew 0-0 with West Brom then smashed Plymouth. Second one we beat Coventry. Absolutely none of this holds up to scrutiny
