Heard his medical is how many tweets he can send in a minute.

Should pass with flying colours then. On another note, even if he does fail his actual medical, his prowess on social media means he's a viable replacement for Adam Baker!

Blimey Friday!

Medicals and confirmation of deals are usually done on the same day or at least the next day.

Hope we don't need to make any deadline day deals else we'll be screwed at this rate.

We need to be patient....

Speaking of pack and his dad in all this, wasn't it suggested pack and smith weren't happy with the new contracts that had been offered compared to o'neil?

what has happened there? I'm certain smith would have been offered a new deal but is clearly yet to sign but pack? Is he deserving of a new deal or is it even too early to offer him a new one?

all this is only going off the Facebook messages by packs dad so possibly Rubbish but he was right about o'neil.....

Well for half a season Pack was the better of the two. So if one of them deserves a new contract so does the other.

Paperwork in the EFL nowadays is immense. I expect the club are taking a bit of a half-arsed approach to it since there's no real rush. A player failing a medical is very rare, so I'm pretty sure this deal will be done eventually.

and they must be the only people in the world to still use a fax machine

Damn this is taking a long time, keep thinking that only City could piss off most of their fans by taking so bloody long to announce that they'd just made their record signing of a player that everyone wants at the club

Oxford Dictionary Definition of tedious:

Too long, slow, or dull; tiresome or monotonous; usually used when Bristol City FC drag out the announcement of the signing of a new player,

its called being professional and thorough,

if you are going to make someone your highest paid player with the highest transfer fee in a clubs history you need to make sure he doesn't bugger off to play one more game for his previous club once its done,

We are waiting for bournmouth to get their first friendly out of the way thats all

Anyone else think this is being delayed to be announced at the same time as the blue away kit?

Disguise the bad news with the news everyone has been clamouring for?

Announcing Tomlin in a blue City shirt - the ultimate dilemma.

Am I outraged? Delighted? Who can say?!

Have I missed anything?

Has @ChippenhamRed got frost bite yet?  And that's not a euphemism!

I know, I was being a bit facetious. I actually think navy and white would look really smart. But there will be a lot that can't see past the fact that it's blue...
