The FAQs said that would be the way to do it - need the further guidance promised though: What happens if I lose or change my phone during the season? Supporters will be able to re-download their Digital Season Ticket to a new phone through their ticketing account. The email was what I quoted. I think they misinterpreted the information. If anything, the email is poorly composed as if they hadn’t yet sent any physical cards out. Best if @bcfc01 comments on what the email to him said as it was his post that I was referring to: I have the exact same problem - got a plastic card but also got an email to say I can't use it as I downloaded the digital version on the advice of BCFC to test last Thursday. Create uncertainty and panic amongst the fan base, that way they all turn up early and buy their tasteless food and piss masquerading as beer/lager/cider so it's a win win for them. Tickets work well and they have all your money! Me? I will go out about 11:30, frequent various local pubs before finishing a last pint in the Cooper's, Clarks pie from the van outside the park and get to the ground at 14:55, where there will be no queues as everybody went in at 1pm and my electronic ticket will work like a dream! A very helpful person sorted me a paper ticket for Saturday and a plastic card for rest of season will arrive before the Brum game. I feel sorry for those who are having to sort such a stupid mess. Great response from him, he's sorted it out so that my physical card will work saturday onwards and they've negated the digital card.
