Someone could fake being ill to call a halt, and don't think it wouldn't/couldn't happen !

I suspect someone gives the person a quick once over to make sure they're actually, you know, dying, rather than just having a bit of a laugh before they then stop the game

I hope the person is okay but how is it decided.

We had one at AG v Swansea last season, the game played on to the consternation of some of the crowd. Some pitch invaders who were ejected iirc whereas.

Fans were trying to attract the attention of the officials or wherever iirc. Yet a Leyton Orient game was abandoned last year or last season.

Does play stop, is the game Abandoned or do the teams play on.

NL - Chesterfield lost back to back games since winning the league. Losing 3-1 at home to Kidderminster this afternoon

NLN - Even though they lost 3-1 at Brackley, Tamworth all but take the title, needing one point from three remaining games to be mathematically certain. More amazing that they only got promoted last season

NLS - Obviously the sad events in the Weymouth Vs Yeovil match have already been discussed above

Elsewhere

Chippenham 0-0 Truro

Taunton 0-2 Bath

Torquay 3-3 Weston

Eastbourne won 2-0 at Dartford in the battle of the relegation teams

Looking a bit dodgy for Torquay. With their 10 points deduction they are only 4 points above relegation after today. Torquay in the Southern League would be a big fall from a few years ago

5 points from the relegation zone now and with a game in hand

Yep, superb Easter weekend for me. City and Farm both taking 6/6

You'll be even happier to hear Evesham lost 2-0 at home to Malvern and Cribbs lost 4-0 at home to Bishops Cleeve

Farm don't play next weekend, but most of the chasing teams are playing each other, Bishops Cleeve vs Bideford and Larkhall vs Mousehole.

I think it could go down to the final game, which for Farm is away at Frome who will be hoping to seal the title

Meanwhile, we (Paulton Rovers) are going down with a whimper. Lost 3-0 at Yate today. Exmouth have picked up big time and Westbury have a couple of games in hand. Tooze who was Paulton manager until recently is now playing for Westbury. You couldn't make it up...

Game got the all clear at 2.15 after a pitch inspection.

Wow, what a fixture list! That would be three months' worth at any other time of year. I bet they are as glad to get a game out as they are with the result.

First of all, thoughts are with the poor fan that took ill this afternoon at Weymouth. Pretty sure it was a Yeovil fan, either way, just hope they make a full and quick recovery.

On the pitch, it wasn't going right as we were one down with a quarter of an hour to go. Might have pulled it back, might not have but no matter, the game will be replayed in 2-3 weeks time. Having spent this afternoon at the Mem, hopefully I'll be able to make the midweek rearranged game.

With Dover turning over Chelmsford surpisingly, it leaves us one win short of the title. Had the Weymouth game turned around and we'd won, we'd be champions tonight but it looks like Worthing next Saturday could be the one to clinch it. While we really don't want to be in NLS, we are embracing it now and had nearly 6.5k on Friday for Torquay. Today, the majority of the 4,712 were Yeovil fans, a great turnout.

Let's hope we never sink this low again. #GreenArmy
