stephenkibby.
Couldn't make the City game today so we went local. Gloucester v Totton. Totton a league below altho near the top of southern league Premier. 3 nil away win Gloucester were so poor a 5 or 6 goal difference would have been fair. Gloucester manager Tim Flowers [ Remember him?} as far i as i could see wasn't even at the game Look in total free fall with the standard of the players Western League at best. A Bloddy shame for a place that is a City. One last thing,i never thought i would ever here a team booed of at H/T at this level unreal. The crap that comes from the premier league seems to have no boundaries .

Looking on Twitter a few shouts for Paul Michael to be given the job - worked wonders at Yate and has turned Merthyr round. As he went to Merthyr in part due to Geography and family reasons as I understand it he may not want/need the extra commitment that would come with NLN but it’d be an interesting appointment if they went for him. Last season they signed Marcus Day (ex-city) from Manor Farm and Im told were paying his accommodation down in Southampton, travel for him plus his money for playing for them Edited September 17, 2023 by transfer reader

City oz
On 30/06/2023 at 21:15, phantom said: A total of 732 clubs will take part in the Emirates FA Cup during the 2023-24 season, with the list of clubs accepted into the competition now being revealed. Among the list are Harleston Town, Heacham and Okehampton Argyle who are among those entering the FA Cup for the first time. And there's also a spot for Bury FC, previous FA Cup winners in 1900 and 1903. They return to the competition following their merger with Bury AFC, who were formed following Bury's removal from the EFL in 2020 and being placed in administration later that year. As the FA Cup applications were oversubscribed, it has not been possible to accommodate all clubs that submitted an application to enter. The maximum number of clubs that can be accepted to participate in the competition in its current format shall be 732. And having reviewed all applications, seven places were available in the FA Cup for clubs at Step 6 of the FA National League System. These places have been awarded to the seven highest-ranked Step 6 clubs (that applied to enter) not promoted to Step 5, based on their points per game (PPG) from the 2022-2023 season. For ease of reference, the seven Step 6 Clubs to be accepted are Brislington FC, Hartpury University FC, Liskeard Athletic FC, Okehampton Argyle FC, Stockport Town FC, Wells City FC and Wendron United FC Alongside the round exemptions and prize fund, the same details for the FA Youth Cup, Isuzu FA Trophy and Isuzu FA Vase have also been released ahead of the new season kicking-off in August. Can't see the gas listed in these early rounds.

22A
The FA Vase is what used to be the FA Amateur Cup. Many of the teams listed are either amateur or semi pro. Whichever, there's some long journey's to be made; especially for Lydd Town, match 69.
Leveller
Taunton Town top of NLS - no doubt temporarily - as they managed a win while others were engaged in cup ties. Still notable though, as they are keeping up with Bath and Yeovil.
